Why people say their going to do something but NEVER take action

This video is maybe a year old now, but it still highlights the reasons why so many people say their going to do something BUT NEVER follow through.

It may come across as a bit too American, or cheesy, but in fact the things they say are actually true at whatever level or position youre in.

A new diet, a new house, a new car or a new job. 

Only you can make the change and take action...

or you can sit by and consider the "What ifs".

The old saying that its better to try and fail, than never try at all.

My Advertising Pays - What Do You Consider To Be A Scam?

Before you judge a product or service - make sure everything you see, touch, buy and own is perfect. 

Everyone has an opinion, to which theyre entitled to. But many people will jump straight in with the time honored phrase, "Oh, it must be a scam (because I dont understand it)", without really taking much if any time to see how a business or opportunity actually works.
 

Its easy to criticize a new website as it goes through teething problems as "a sign" that theres something deeply un-holy about to happen and an indication of just how incompetent these "cowboys" must be. 

If youve been following this blog, youll know we are moving house soon, although it has now been delayed for a week as the purchasers are waiting for their funds to be deposited to their bank. 

So, as with any house move theres always lots of "stuff" to do like changing insurance details, arranging the re-direction of mail, organizing a new telephone line etc. 

In the past week alone, I have encountered so many problems (some might say theyre just badly run operation - some might even say theyre scams) that we all take for granted - apart from the occasional moan to a work colleague. 

Take for example, changing the car insurance to the new address. This incurred a fee, when all they were doing was pressing a few buttons on a keyboard. Is this a scam? We moan about it, then accept it!

I tried to arrange a new phone line and broadband for our new house with a well known UK Postal Service (the biggest!).

Every time we tried use the website, we couldnt fill in many of the fields because we noticed there was a problem with the encryption of the "https"

causing errors. After several phone calls, emails and "rate our service today" surveys where I tried to tell them their site need fixed - it still isnt!

Is this incompetence and a sign theyre up to no good?  

And two un-related but equally frustrating stories:

Lorna need a new battery for her car, so it Halfords (a large Uk motoring superstore chain) had the best deal and we attempted to shop online so we could collect the battery later.

No need to guess that there were problems with the sever and various error messages would appear.

   A badly maintained website,
 or just a glitch that probably got fixed at some point?

My point is, just like all these supposedly reliable big name high street chains, My Advertising Pays has had its teething problems too.
The difference is they have ALWAYS fixed the problem.

Sadly, there are a few individuals who jump on the vaguest of issues to claim to the world that the site is about to crash and were about to burn in the fires of hell!  

At the end of the day I can only continue to write my blog and show you how I personally am doing. If you like what you see, thats brilliant.
If you choose to join thats cool too. If its not for you, then its no problem.
"Taking action",  is a phrase I, and a lot of people on-line use, and it can sound a bit cheesy. But, the reality is, its something you have to in whatever you choose to do in life.

Be Wary Of Anti MAPS Reviews Do They Have Ulterior Motives

Okay, so youve typed Myadvertisingpays into Google, and amongst the genuine blogs and sites, you see a few that attempt to discredit MAPS.

Confusing eh?

There are pages on Social Media where some people seem to spend an enormous amount of time and effort producing, in many cases, lame and inaccurate comments, often naming and in some cases offering veiled threats to individuals in the business.

Why would someone, who hides their identity spend so much effort venting their spleen day after day after day?

It must be self destructive to be such an individual, so maybe they lost out in an online opportunity in the past.

Fair enough, you win some, you lose some (take the 4k I lost to the men in grey suits at the Bank when they suggested I open an ISA!).

Online marketers often get it wrong. They dont build the programme though.

I had a Renault a few years ago after hearing glowing reports from friends and online. Turned out to be an electrical fault nightmare (which I now know is common in Renaults).

Should I blame those friends and online reviews then...or myself?

And then we come to the often missed point by people looking for unbiased views online. Do the sites "dissing", MAPS for example have an ulterior motive?

Quite often, yes!

Quite often, these sites will eventually lead you to a "New Opportunity" that they wish to promote.

People are rightly wary of online programmes and systems that promise to make you rich overnight, and so are easily swayed if they see just one bad review, but will continue to accept poor service and goods in the offline world.

     Sometimes these new oppportunities whole system is based around calling EVERY other opportunity a scam......apart from theirs of course!

The best way to get any facts is to meet, and speak to people within the business. Go to meetings and events and see real social proof.

Do you trust the politicians to sort out your future UK General Election May 7th 2015

Well the UK General Election on May 7th, draws ever nearer, with all the parties hustling for our attention and votes.

Although I always vote, I find increasingly difficult to stay interested in modern party politics. Already weve had several weeks of bickering and backstabbing, lies and counter lies. Lots of "He said, she said" and to be honest its a complete turn off. On the whole I dont trust any of them, policy wise they all blur into one. Its a question of which is the best of a bad bunch.

 In the end, the only person responsible for your (my) future is you, not them!
Ultimately, politicians of all persuasions will more than likely make life difficult for ordinary working people.
If you want to better yourself, sometimes you have to take a chance, go out on a limb. Some people may ridicule you for it, whilst they sit back and do nothing. Theyre the ones who will never take action and actively do something to try and better their future.

On the other hand, you could like me take the bull by the horns and do something about it. If youve never made money on the internet before, then Myadvertisingpays is the place that you will.

It take guts to believe!

Continuing from yesterdays post featuring Ton Robbins, speaking about how and why some people say theyre going to to do "something",
but never follow through.

It was in the video that I heard the phrase,

"To be skeptical is to be gutless. It takes no guts to be skeptical. You dont have to have any capacity of knowledge to be a critic. It takes GUTS to believe. And if you think someone or something is going to do it for you without you putting your guts on the line, you might as well never even try. Its your fear talking. Fear of being disappointed. Your biggest disappointments will lead to your biggest appointments in your life if you get rid of the fear and believe". 

Theres probably more than a hint of truth in that saying. A lot of times when youre trying to show possible new leads, how they can make money with my advertising pays, they often sit on the fence and make excuses. 

Despite ALL the results and evidence that clearly proves this could be a life changing moment!

How many sceptics, will gladly throw their money away in the pub, at the bookmakers, on an average fast food/take away meal with the kids?

Or even like myself, (not so) gladly, trust my money to the men in suits to invest my money wisely in stocks, shares and ISAs , only for them to loose it!

Another old saying is,
"Its better to have tried and failed, than never tried at all."
